The BC Federation of Retired Union Members – BC FORUM – serves the needs of both retired and active union members over the age of 50 throughout British Columbia.

The BC FORUM has been very vocal in their support of our members on the Westminster Savings Credit Union Shaughnessy Station picket line fighting to save the pension for the next generation of workers.

On April 1, 2019, the BC FORUM sent two separate letters. One letter was sent to MoveUP President David Black expressing their support and solidarity for the MoveUP members on the picket line.

The other letter was sent to Westminster Savings Credit Union CEO Gavin Toy and the Westminster Savings Board of Directors strongly urging them to fairly and respectfully settle the dispute and to withdraw the demand that new hires be covered under a defined contribution pension plan.
